Post-procedure Care Instructions for Eyebrows

For 14 days following Eyebrow Procedure:

-Apply aftercare balm sparingly to treated area to keep from drying (1-2 times daily).
Do not apply too much. Doing so will cause the skin to not breathe and may cause irritation. Keep the area dry and keep applying the ointment as needed, this means that when you feel the skin is dry, apply a thin layer.  If the skin is not dry, you do not need to apply. Wash your hands before applying the ointment.

-Do not expose treated area to the sun.

-Avoid make-up on treated area. You may apply powder face make-up over the treated area only with a new clean applicator.

-Absolutely no cleansing creams or chemicals. You may rinse with warm water and pat dry. If you must remove make-up around the area, do so with petroleum jelly.

-Absolutely no scrubbing. Do not pick at the epithelial crust; allow it to flake off on its own.

-Do not soak treated area in bath, swimming pool, or hot tub. Do not swim in salt, fresh, or chlorinated water.

-Do not exercise or preform activities that will result in extreme perspiration.

-Do not expose the treated area to full pressure water in the shower.

Failure to follow Post Procedure Instructions can greatly affect the results of your cosmetic tattoo by causing loss of pigment and discoloration.  In addition, Infections can happen from improper aftercare. If any of the following symptoms appear, seek medical attention right away: expanding redness days after the procedure, increased swelling tenderness or pain, or presence of puss.

Remember, colors may appear brighter and more sharply defined immediately following the procedure. As the healing progresses, color will soften and fade.
